South Cobb Ravens Sideline & PURPLE Ravens Elite Competitive Cheerleading prides itself on serving cheerleaders ages 4-11 by providing a safe and positive environment for individuals to develop themselves physically, mentally, emotionally, and morally through cheerleading.
This is our fifth year as an organization, but we come with twelve years of cheerleading experience as coaches, directors and coordinators. Our organization is a part of the Metro Atlanta Youth Football League (MAYFL), which consists of some of the most competitive squads in the metro area.
We expect all of our cheerleaders to develop a Born to Compete mindset, because we are striving to be the best cheer program in this league. Our previous teams have had some great experiences over the years. However, this year, we are looking forward to a BIGGER and better year!! SCRC offers more than just teams, we offer anything your child could ever need!

SCRC strives to fill our teams with athletes that will give our teams the best possible chance for success in their division. This means that we are not necessarily looking for the 36 best tumblers or jumpers for any particular team. We need an appropriate mix of skills, ages, and even body types (flyers/bases) on each team. This will create a team that is more likely to be successful in competition.
Teams will be selected based on age, current ability, and future potential. We have teams that fit into every division, from novice to elite. With all of our teams, we are looking for potential as much as experience.
After our yearly tryouts, you can contact a Program Director to set up a private tryout. Generally we will have you join an age appropriate team practice and assess your skills during that practice. We try to keep it pressure free!

Sideline Cheerleading registration is $315.00. There is an early registration for cheerleader’s discount of $275.00 until June 1 2014, MUST BE PAID IN FULL. For returning cheerleaders if you have "NEW" cheer warm-up from previous year(2013), you will not have to purchase warm up. There is a multiple cheerleader discount of $25.00 for one full ($315.00) registration. An $85.00 money order, for uniform rental is required for each registrant at the time of uniform pass out. Money order will be returned at the end of the season, upon return of the uniform being dry clean with receipt and no prior violations of cheer contract.Payment arrangements are available if needed. A minimum of $75.00 per cheerleader will be due at the time of registration. With the payment arrangement, payments can be made at your leisure but full payment is due by original date given. If registering after July 31, 2013 no payment arrangements are available. All registration fees are due in full at the time of registration during the month of August.
